Thursday, 21 August 2008

Datasouth has been awarded the Core Infrastructure Solution of the Year at the 2008 New Zealand Microsoft Partner Awards, held on the 14 August at the Auckland Museum.

The Core Infrastructure Solution of the Year recognises a solution that has delivered results beyond the customers' expectations and has helped move the platform forward to deliver business wide transformation.

The awards are designed to honour Microsoft Gold, Certified and Small Business Specialist Partners who, over the past year, demonstrated an impressive level of innovation in using Microsoft technologies to deliver excellence to their clients.

“This is the first time Datasouth has submitted nominations for the New Zealand Microsoft Partner Awards, and to win the Core Infrastructure Solution of the Year and be a finalist in each of the other categories that we entered is fantastic,”, comments Craig Gerken, Datasouth General Manager.
“For Datasouth the submission of the nominations was extremely important. We believed that we had been doing some exceptional work, and the Microsoft Partner Awards were an opportunity for us to showcase this and validate against our industry peers.”
“Datasouth has a very close working relationship with Microsoft New Zealand, and through this relationship we have been able to forge exceptionally strong relationships with our clients via the use of Microsoft Technologies that are providing real solutions to our clients' business issues.”

The competition this year was extremely strong with Datasouth beating other finalists including Axon and Kinetics Group.

Datasouth was also a finalist in the following categories:

  • Application Platform Solution of the Year
  • Business Productivity Solution of the Year
  • Citizenship Solution of the Year
  • Small Business Specialist of the Year
